One of the greatest places to build community is around the table. It is one of the few places that people feel comfortable enough to reveal their heart.

 Chicken Spaghetti
*Note: I usually just use a can of Rotel and Tony's Cajun Seasoning instead of the chili. You can take the girl outta Louisiana, but you can't take Louisiana outta the girl.

Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce
After not having honey mustard in several years, I got this overwhelming craving for it the other day. I think I was dreaming of Chick-fil-a. Then when I was at the grocery store I saw Honey Mustard flavored Pringles. Don't judge me! It's amazing what tastes incredible when you haven't had something in a while. So I ran home, and looked up this recipe. I used a little more honey than it called for. I hope that you enjoy it as much as we did!

Texas Road House Butter
This was a huge hit not only with our family but with our team as well. Warning: Can be very addicting and potentially dangerous to your thighs. Consume with caution!

1 Hour Yeast Rolls
These are super simple and goes great with the TRH butter recipe that is posted above. These are seriously worth the time and you can be sure to impress the hubby with your baking skills!

Peanut Butter Fudge
These are divine!

Chicken Enchiladas with a White Sauce
We love Mexican food around our house! We usually eat it at once a week if not more. I think some of it is due to the many years that we spent working in West Texas. I follow this recipe almost exactly, but there are a few things that we can't find here and require a substitute. When it comes to the sauce, I substitute the sour cream for plain yogurt. Also, I am unable to find green chilies, so I dice up a few jalapenos and mince some garlic. Close enough and the guy never complain when this dish is prepared and that equals success in my book, friends!

Chapati
We use these little jewels for everything! They are amazing and super inexpensive. I don't make them often, but when I do this is the recipe I use. Usually these are what serve as my "tortillas" in the enchilada recipe posted above.

Manicotti
When Chad and I first got married, I received a cookbook that my amazing mother-n-love (which is a genius when it comes to cooking from scratch) put together when Chad's sister got married a few years before. Inside, I found a ton of recipes ranging from decadent sweets to family favorite main courses. One of Chad's favorites is his mom's manicotti. And if I were completely honest, this was a meal that I had never heard of before getting married, much less knew what it tasted or looked like. But in an effort  to impress my groom and after many years of practice, I have been able to master one of his childhood favs.

After living on a Swahili Coast island that is highly influenced by Middle Eastern cuisine I get super excited about anything with the words coconut and curry in the dish. I can't get enough of this rich and sweet combo. This recipe did not disappoint. I think you could even interchange the lentils for chicken if you don't want the vegan version.

When I am looking to cut our carbs from my diet this is a great recipe! You can use ground chicken or turkey if you prefer. It is so good, quick, and easy!

This will change your life. Seriously. It is true to it's name-you will keep coming back for more. You can use this on so many things. I like to make it with tacos, fried, chicken, french fries, etc. The possibilities are limitless.

Again, this one is a game changer. If you love ranch with a little kick-look no further! It is very similar to Chuy's Jalepeno Ranch. You will be addicted.

I LOVE using a slow cooker during the week. I didn't know how much I would love Indian food until living in East Africa. The island had a ton of Indian influence as well as being known as the "Spice Island". Indian cuisine quickly became my favorite-hands down! If you are like me, you will love this recipe.

This is one of my favorite desserts to make for the holidays. It is way easier to make than I ever imagined possible.

I have used this recipe for several years and they always turn out amazing. I am not much of a baker, but these are pretty fool proof.

Again, Middle Eastern food makes me so happy and just gives me warm fuzzies. I love it SO much and always look for a good reason to eat it. Hummus is one of those things that I like to keep in the fridge all of the time. It pairs nicely with all sorts of vegetables and can stretch a meal like non other because it is high in protein. If you want to save your breathe, just skip the garlic-although I have no idea why you would ever choose to do that. Just grab some mints or keep your tooth brush handy. Totally worth having dragon breath.

Have you ever tried whipped feta? Oh my goodness. Buckle up! If you are looking for a rich, smooth, and decadent treat or appetizer please try this. It literally melts in your mouth and keeps you running back to the bowl. I tried it for the first time last year and wondered where I had been hiding.

I love a quick, easy, and low carb meal. This is a go to! I love cabbage and so this one really does it for me. Also, I appreciate any recipe that you can interchange the protein. I typically use ground chicken for mine.
